ผมได้เขียนบทความเรื่อง Canon V1 อุปกรณ์เสริม มา 4 ตอนแล้ว และคิดว่าจะไม่เขียนอีกแล้ว แต่ในที่สุด ก็ต้องเขียนอึกตอน เพราะผมได้อุปกรณ์เสริมมาอีกตัวหนึ่ง คือ SmallRig 5808 L-Shaped Mount Plate with Handle พูดง่ายๆ ก็คือ Grip ติดกล้องนั่นเอง ทำให้การจับถือเข้ามือยิ่งขึ้น
ข้อเขียน 4 ตอน เกี่ยวกับอุปกรณ์กล้อง Canon V1 ก่อนหน้านี้ ประกอบไปด้วย

ขอเพิ่มอุปกรณ์อีกตัว ตัวสุดท้ายแล้วครับ SmallRig Grip ลักษณะมันก็คล้ายๆ กับ Yanzuo cage เมื่อถอด cage ออก แต่สิ่งที่ผมชอบ SmallRig คือ ความเรียบง่าย การเพิ่มขนาดความลึกของ Grip ทำให้จับถือกล้องได้สะดวก วัสดุที่ใช้กับ Grip ดูเหมือนเป็นซิลิโคน ดูนุ่มจับแล้วสบายมือ Texture ก็คล้ายกับ Texture ของตัวกล้องมาก พูดได้ว่าอุปกรณ์ Handgrip ตัวนี้น่าจะดูดีสุดแล้ว นอกจากนี้ ตัวฐานกล้องหรือ Plate เป็นแบบ Arca-Swisss โดยสรุปเมื่อติด Grip เข้ากับกล้องแล้ว ทำให้ดูเหมือนเป็นเนื้องานเดียวกัน ไม่เหมือนของยี่ห้ออื่น
น้ำหนักเพียงแค่ 76.8 กรัม นอกจากนี้ ยังมีอุปกรณ์กันลม คือ Windscreen หรือ Wind Diffuser (น้ำหนักเพียง 12 กรัม) มาพร้อมกับ grip ด้วย ซึ่งแม้กล้อง Canon V1 จะให้อุปกรณ์ตัวนี้มากับกล้องแล้วก็ตาม แต่มันมีจุดอ่อน คือ เมื่อเสียบอุปกรณ์ตัวนี้เข้ากับ Multifunction shoe บนหัวกล้องแล้ว เราจะใช้ประโยชน์อะไรจาก Multifunction shoe ไม่ได้ แต่ถ้าใช้ Windscreen ของ SmallRig ซึ่งก็ต้องเสียบเข้ากับ Multifunction shoe ของกล้องเช่นกัน แล้วมันจะกลายร่างเป็น Cold shoe ทำให้เราเสียบกับอุปกรณ์ต่างๆ เพิ่มขึ้นได้ เช่น ไฟ LED หรือใช้เสียบกับไมค์นอก
ถ้ามีอะไรจะติสำหรับอุปกรณ์ตัวนี้ ก็มีประการเดียว คือ จุดที่ติดแม่เหล็กที่ใช้สำหรับเก็บตัวขันสกรูติด Plate กับตัวกล้อง ที่อยู่ใต้ Plate นั้น มันมีแค่ 2 จุด จริงๆ ควรจะเป็น 3 จุด ทำให้ตัวขันสกรูมันแนบไม่สนิท มันค่อนข้างจะง่อกแง่กหน่อย แต่ก็ไม่ได้เป็นปัญหาที่ซีเรียสอะไรมากนัก
Canon V1 Accessories
I had written four articles about the Canon V1 accessories before and thought I wouldn’t write any more. However, I have to write one more because I got another accessory, which is the SmallRig 5808 L-Shaped Mount Plate with Handle. Simply put, it’s a hand grip for the Canon V1, and it feels better to use than most other hand grips.
The previous four articles about the Canon V1 camera accessories include:

I would like to add one last accessory: the SmallRig grip. Its shape is like Yanzuo grip when removing the cage, but what I like is its simplicity. The increased depth of the grip makes it more convenient to hold the camera. Made from what appears to be silicone, the grip offers a soft feel. The texture is quite similar to that of the camera, almost identical. I could say this handgrip is probably the best-looking handgrip. The base plate is of the Arca-Swiss type. In summary, attaching the grip to the camera makes it look like a seamless part of the camera body, unlike other brands.
The grip weight is 76.8 grams (2.7 oz). The grip includes the windscreen, or wind diffuser (12 grams or 0.42 oz), is a wind protection accessory. Even though the Canon V1 camera comes with this accessory, it has a drawback: when you attach this device to the multifunction shoe on the top of the camera, you can’t use the multifunction shoe for anything else. The SmallRig windscreen, when mounted on the camera’s multifunction shoe, creates a cold shoe for adding devices such as an LED light or external microphone.
If there’s anything to criticize about this accessory, it’s that the magnetic points used to hold the flat screwdriver, which attaches under the plate, are only two. Ideally, there should be three points to ensure the screwdriver fits snugly. Anyway, this isn’t a serious issue.
