On January 31, 2026, I posted pictures and videos of Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market in Talingchan District, Bangkok, Thailand. A few days ago, I visited Talingchan Floating Market and Song Khlong Floating Market. Both floating markets are also in Talingchan District. There are many floating markets in this area because Talingchan comprises many canals (khlong/klong).
The following pictures are of the atmosphere around Talingchan Floating Market.

There is another floating market called Song Khlong Floating Market, Wat Talingchan, situated nearby. Visitors can walk around 150 meters to the second market. Song Khlong Floating Market is small and quiet.
The photos below are from Song Khlong Floating Market.

If you ask me which one is worth visiting among the three floating markets: Khlong Lat Mayom, Talingchan, and Song Klong. Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market is larger and more “village-like” and authentic than the others. The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration created Talingchan Floating Market and located it in front of the Talingchan District Office. Song Khlong floating market is located in the vicinity of Wat (temple) Talingchan. This smaller floating market is quiet and has few visitors. Around 80% of the booths are food and beverages. But the benefit of visiting Talingchan Floating Market is that visitors can also walk to Song Khlong Floating market. The last picture above, I shot it from Song Khlong Floating Market. You can see Talingchan Floating Market in the center of the picture.
